For many decades now, RT-Filtertechnik (formerly Regeltechnik Friedrichshafen) has worked together with its customers to develop top-standard filtration systems, filter elements and accessories. Over the years, it has become a synonym for competence and now stands for effective filtration, user-friendliness and optimal environmental compatibility.

What do we mean by effective filtration?

• A careful choice of glass-fibre fabric based on years of experience and practical testing.
• Consistent use of magnetic pre-filtration. Magnetic pre-filtration has a special advantage in that it retains both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic particles, from the very small to the very large. This not only prevents clogging, but also ensures that very large impurities such as welding beads are filtered out of the hydraulic fluid, thus effectively relieving the strain on the filter element and prolonging its lifetime considerably. At the same time, the flow direction from the inside of the filter element outwards prevents any solid particles from being washed back into the hydraulic system during filter maintenance.
• User-friendliness is a key feature. Maintenance tasks are extremely easy to perform, as the filter element is always removed from above. This prevents any oil from escaping when the filter element is changed, so that there is no risk to the environment
