Application-specific filtration

RT Filtertechnik GmbH builds filter elements for stationary and mobile hydraulic systems with a filter area from a few cm² to 6m². You can choose from around 4,000 standard filter elements for your customer application. It is also possible to apply purely technical aspects and "soft" factors - such as production against reproduction - to specially create a filtration solution from the modular system according to your specification profile.

This modular system is also reflected by the choice of the filter materials. The optimum filter material or the best material combination can be selected from a wide range of filter materials for the customer application. To determine the best possible filtration solution, we can apply a broad data pool of individual filtration materials and material combinations of glass fibre, paper or synthetic materials and various fabrics.

Classic protection and police filters of our products are implemented with wire mesh bellows. This goes from classic zinc-plated wire mesh for the simplest of applications to high-quality stainless steel wire mesh for oil and suction gas filtration applications. Wire meshes with different bond types for fineness ranges between 10 and 650µm are used.

For the suction filter elements in the product portfolio of RT Filtertechnik GmbH, in addition to the classic wire mesh applications, highly modern, synthetic materials are also used, which filter absolutely reliably between 10µm nominal and 40µm absolute, due to the deep-bed filtration with a low differential pressure difference and stable in the long-term.

The largest group of filter elements of RT Filtertechnik GmbH is those for return line filtration. In addition to the classic glass fibre materials, highly modern filter media developed specially for these applications can be used.

Due to the application-oriented development of the filter elements and realistic test procedures, in addition to the optimum media selection for your customer application, an optimised production method can be applied for the filter elements, which also improves the (long-term) pulsation stability.

The product portfolio includes filter elements with an absolute filtration fineness of 3µm, 5µm, 10µm and 20µm, whose design is based on the flow rate, pulsation or on the service life and that can be used in combination with each other.

Example: Combination element

The patented 2-stage or combination filter elements of RT Filtertechnik GmbH are particularly popular. The target group are users for whom, in addition to the low differential pressure difference, ultra-fine filtration and thus oil maintenance for very high flow rates are important.

Reproduction safeguard due to pleat geometry

With patent-protected production methods and special measures for creating pleats in the filter element, RT Filtertechnik GmbH is able to generate geometries from the infinitely produced pleat star that ensure a high degree of protection against reproduction and thus also provide the end customer with a significant advantage on the market.

With the use of modern, high-precision and control-technically mature folding machines, RT Filtertechnik GmbH is able to produce bellows with almost any physically and technically feasible pleat design.

Using these high-quality folding machines and pleat geometries, high-quality filter elements can always be significantly optimised technologically. In addition, the use of these folding technologies enables the improvement of low-weight, flow-optimised filtration materials in terms of their service life and pulsation stability. The other way round, pulsation resistant filter media of higher weight can be produced with significantly reduced differential pressure difference compared to filter elements folded in the conventional manner.

In addition, these pleat geometries improve the inherent rigidity of the filter element mat when oil flows through the filter element and form the basis for the element series of the sustainable filter elements.
