The headquarters of RT-Filtertechnik in Friedrichshafen serve as a hub for housing solutions. The development, validation, and production of filter housings for hydraulic filtration, as well as for air, fuel, water, and refrigeration technology, take place on an area of approximately 5,000 m², .
- Manufacturing structure: Around 60 employees work in a two-shift system across various areas, including the welding shop, fixture construction, paint shop, small filter assembly, final assembly, and quality assurance (QA).
- Testing technology: Modern test benches ensure the precise examination of individual components and assemblies (focus: hydraulic filtration validation test bench RT-Filtertechnik).
Centre for filter element solutions RT-Filtertechnik Kromsdorf
The RT-Filtertechnik Kromsdorf plant was originally founded in 1992 as FTW Fluid Technik GmbH and was integrated into the overall group in early 2011. On approximately 8,000m², powerful filtration solutions for a wide range of applications are developed using modern manufacturing processes.
- Manufacturing structure: Around 180 employees work in a three-shift system, using modern folding machines to produce various media structures and assemble filter elements. There is also a production line for diesel filtration.
- Validation: A dynamic multi-pass test bench enables real load cycles to be simulated so that all performance data can be comprehensively verified.
